Charter and Articles of Conduct

This charter codifies the traditions and laws of the Highwind Couriers and is displayed in the Hall of Feathers at The Crest. Copies are kept in all major guild halls.

I. Purpose
The Highwind Couriers exist to maintain and advance the craft of aerial courier service, providing swift and reliable transport of messages, cargo, and passengers across the world.

II. Membership
Only those of sound body and steady judgment may serve as Riders. Candidates must complete apprenticeship training and demonstrate competence in bird handling, navigation, and flight safety.

The guild is governed by the Hallmaster of The Crest, with regional Hallmasters overseeing guild operations within their territories.

V. Conduct and Discipline
Cruelty toward a courier bird, theft from the guild, or dishonesty toward a client are grounds for expulsion from the guild.
