Highwind Rider Oath

The Rider’s Oath is spoken aloud by an apprentice upon being recognized as a full Rider of the Highwind Couriers. The ceremony traditionally takes place in the Hall of Feathers at The Crest, though regional halls perform the rite as needed.

I vow to care for my bird with vigilance and respect.

I pledge to ride with skill, caution, and steady judgment.

I will carry faithfully the messages entrusted to me,
and deliver them without alteration or deceit.

I will uphold the laws and reputation of the Highwind Couriers,
and stand beside my fellow riders in sky and on ground.

So I swear,
by wind and wing.
